	The King’s School Ely Press release, 30th April 2008 Equine artist gives masterclass Renowned equine artist, Jacquie Jones, gave a masterclass to young artists at King’s Ely Junior School. Keen members of the Junior School’s Art Club packed the art department to listen to the Newmarket-based artist give a talk about her work, illustrated with slides, and watch her create a drawing of jockeys urging riding racehorses towards the finish line. Jean Schaniel, Junior School Head of Art, said: “Jacquie was an inspiration and the children were enthralled and had lots of questions for her. We are very grateful to her for spending so much time and giving the Art Club such an enthralling afternoon.” PICTURES BELOW
